New Horizon Communities

About Us

New Horizon Communities is a 501c3 nonprofit that started as a tent city and now operates three fully thriving permanent supportive tiny home villages. Our first village, Quixote Village opened in Olympia in 2013 and our second village, the Orting Veterans Village opened in 2021, and our third village, the Shelton Veterans Village, opened late September 2023.

Many people experiencing homelessness have come through our doors seeking a chance to rebuild their lives. We've seen residents overcome years of substance use, gain employment, earn a college degree, and reunite with family members. The sky is the limit when you have a roof over your head, supportive staff, and a tight-knit community you can call your own.
